It’s the most wonderful time of the year
For little ones who still believe in Santa, it would be heartbreaking indeed if the jolly man with the big bag of toys visited every home in our street except theirs.

But thank goodness, the magic of Christmas makes it possible for lots of different ‘Santas’ – many of whom look just like ordinary men and women! – to ensure there was a gift for every one of our 64 boys and girls under the tree last December.

Not only that, you helped pack so much fun into the holidays! From ice skating at North Gate (a ‘first’ for some of the kids) to a visit to Water World in the rain, a chance to see the Lipizaner horses and an action packed afternoon at Jozi X, the children had a ball.

A big thank you to everyone who contributed to make Christmas the most exciting and wonderful time for the children. Special thanks to FNB volunteers, McDonalds and DGB who sponsored a party, complete with gifts, sweets, a magician and jumping castles.

Thank you also to our generous supporters who made cash donations to help children like Gary and Sabelo learn to smile again. Your contributions don’t just buy food, clothing, education and health care … they also ensure that kids who’ve had an unhappy start in life get another chance to enjoy a childhood filled with fun and laughter, shared with those they love and trust.
