Gifts in kind

Donations of food, clothing, household items, furniture and second hand items for our charity shop are always most gratefully received. Please click here for our latest ‘needs list’. Goods may be dropped off at the Home (59 Urania Street, Observatory) during normal working hours – or call us on 011 023 6870 to make arrangements.

Personal Care

Our children need a steady supply of soap, body lotion and other personal hygiene products. Please email support2@jch.org.za to find out what our current needs are.

Household Cleaners

Each cottage needs cleaning products, dishwashing liquid, and items like mops, dusters, and brooms. Please email support2@jch.org.za to find out what our current needs are.

Food

We appreciate donations of basic food items, including cooking spices, mayonnaise and chutney. Please email support2@jch.org.za to find out what our current needs are.

Clothing

Growing kids need new pyjamas, school uniforms, tracksuits, underwear, shoes and socks on a regular basis. Please contact us for a complete list and sizes needed.

Donate Furniture

We are often in need of new furniture, appliances, shelving and curtain rails for our cottages. Please contact us for more information and an updated list of additional items needed from time to time.

Donate food Second hand items

Used items in good condition – e.g. furniture, crockery & cutlery, appliances, clothing, books and toys – are sold through our shop, with proceeds helping to provide for our family of boys and girls.
