We love spring

It’s the season of new beginnings … and if anyone needs a new beginning, it’s a child who’s been neglected, ill treated and hurt in the past.

With your support, we can heal these little ones – all it takes is a little love, nurturing, encouragement and belief in them. And of course, the practical necessities of life … which all cost money.

Times are tough for everyone, but you can still support the children here at JCH simply by having a clear out at home … and donating unwanted items in good condition – books, clothing, jewellery, toys, furniture and household items – to us.

It’s a win-win situation … and it doesn’t cost you a cent.

Our Thrift Shop is an important income generating project – and it works because people like you donate quality pre-loved items to stock the shelves. So why not get into Spring Cleaning mode this weekend? You’ll not only help raise funds towards the care of our children, you’ll also give less privileged community members access to affordable goods.

Of course, we also welcome cash donations. Whether it’s R100 or R1 000, your gift makes all the difference to a child who’s been neglected or hurt in the past. Together we can change these kids’ lives for the better, and help them grow and blossom.

Whichever way you choose to help, thank you for caring!
